Lucy Slivinski: Inspired Terrains Celestial Light in a Forest of Love
September 7 through October 14, 2010.
Lucy Slivinski will be creating a site specific installation in the Freedman Gallery that will convert the traditional modernist white walls and high ceilings into a cosmological journey of light, color, fantasy, and structure. Ms. Slivinski, a Chicago based artist, creates site specific works nationally and internationally.
Artist Talk, Klein Lecture Hall: Tuesday September 7, 6-8, followed by small reception in the gallery.
Opening Reception: Wednesday September 8, 5-7. (Thursday is Rosh Hashanah)
September 3 - 5: Construction and installation of works is open to all students and volunteers. Please come with your creative spirit your ideas and a scrap of fabric or trinket.
